It’s hard to believe but winter is still coming. This winter season has been one with little snow cover and fluctuating temperatures. This usually means there will be damage to some of the more borderline plants. We have finally realized that we have enough to take care of and taking care of the gardens has taken on a life of it’s own at times.
The gardens always need a lot of work in the spring but liberal application of mulch in the spring and then again during fall cleanup make it much easier to open them in the spring.
Our grandson Ray is 17 years old now. He has turned into real gentleman. He is also a great big brother to Jack who is now 11 years old.
